I really enjoyed this collection. The mix of forensic detail and detective work was gripping, and the partnership between the pathologist and the detective was a standout element for me. It’s such a shame the Beth Adams series didn’t continue beyond the second book, because the dynamic had so much potential. I would have happily followed these characters through many more cases.
