I think this is one of the most mechanically crunchy in the series which I personally love theory crafting their builds was very fun but I feel Wolf has gotten uncharacteristically reckless

I think all Suneater books struggle with time skip jet lag take a bit to get the plot up and going with that being said this is the easiest transition from book to book

Victor may not be a villian but he’s not a good guy he is truly enjoying the suffering and fear he causes people. That being said he is extremely loyal to Mitch(best character) and Syd and I think that’s what makes him better than Eli. When Eli is in love with Serena it’s more of a love of convenience he wants to keep her close so it is easier to kill her and she makes his life easier but he doesn’t love her

Victor isn’t a super likable character I think that is the point though Eli seems like the “hero” type and since we are only getting glimpses of who he really is present day I think my dislike of victor at this point is warranted also props to the author for not giving out basic powers
