So I’ve reached the point that poet starts singing about Odysseus and Troy without knowing Odysseus is there. All I can picture is Travis Scott rapping this part and I’m WAILING! Please Nolan PLEASE don’t have Travis rapping! Why is he even casted in this movie UGH! Anyways I’m sure I’ll come back to this comment and laugh, but for now I can just cry 🥲

Started this yesterday just to realize I read 104 pages of introduction and translator notes lol. Well at least it gave me some context so I know what I’m reading, but I could’ve saved a good 2 hours of background reading and could’ve dove right in!

Very encouraging. I’ve reread a couple of chapters because they were really rich in content and application!

Amazing I can’t put it down!! This js the fastest I’ve read a book.

I’m SHOCKED and we haven’t even made it to the games!! This book is going to wreck me I already know. I barely started it yesterday and I’m halfway through 😭

The tea is PIPPING!! There were a couple chapters I couldn’t put the book down, starting at right before the chapter called The Vendetta!
