Going to try to get back into this one. Fitzgerald’s writing style is quite detailed and he employs variety of styles that is making it tricky! Let’s see what happens!

Getting better, starting to feel some sympathy for the characters. Albom is definitely trying to drop some big life advice on us - let’s see if he lands it over the rest of the book.

Had nothing going on today, deciced to lay in the sun at my parents house and get to work on one of the five (5!!) books I bought this weekend. 5 for $50ish at By the Books downtown Ptbo! Can’t beat it!

Anyway, book is good so far. Very easily readable
as much of Albom’s books are. Unlikeable characters other than Dor, will see if that changes.

Good so far! I’ve meant to read this forever. Was mostly just killing time at the bookstore and don’t want to spend over $20 on it right now… Anyone have a copy I can borrow?!? Hahaha

Bit of a slog so far unfortunately!

Fantastic so far. Love this style, graphic novel memoir. Can’t imagine there’s a ton out there? Maus 1 and 2 come to mind.

Chapter 24 was fantastic. Hemingway has this innate knack to create a world and character so clearly, so quickly, even if it’s in passing.
Going to try and finish this book tonight!

Hemingway has had a few unlikable characters but Harry may be up there as one of the most miserable!

Interesting but slow moving. Something mystical at play that doesn’t really grab me. Onwards we go!
