I’m not finished yet, but what a joy it is to read about Europe from a foreigners perspective. As an American, Europe has always had such a magnetic beauty that I’ve been unable to put into words. Aciman does it with ease and evokes the feeling of the glowy streets of a European city perfectly!

So far, my favorite story is the one about it the two boys skiing in the Alps. I can’t exactly explain why but that one has stuck with me
