For a book I grabbed blindly off the value village shelves, this is heat. The characters have instant depth and motivations and the world building is rich. Laurel and Savannah are relatable. At this point, im still wondering how this ends up being a horror novel and not a love triangle. The atmosphere is eerie but far away, the murders aren’t happening in your jurisdiction. I am looking forward to reading more!

Ok so done. Last 200 pages genuinely kind of heat ok stephanie. Very fanfiction. Why is jacob so evil? I know why? Hes a little too evil? I did consume theast half of this book in one sitting, that absolutely has to count fkr something.

Really hated the weird jealousy “i want her no i wsnt her no she likes me” tent bit but hey. You cant have it all.

Also hated the lovely “i am going go forcemysf upon u”sh

This book started off ASS. Like 200 pages of pure ass. It might be the delusion at this point, but since Jacob became a focus of the book, the plot finally had substance again. I need to reflect further.
