War ganz gut. Fand die Hauptcharakterin nicht besonders sympathisch, aber konnte nicht erkennen, ob es gewollt war.

At the beginning I was like ok fantasy but at least he writes women as people.

But the moment they show the emperor it really gripped me.

Ich werde es nicht beenden. Das Buch ist gut für totale Anfänger, aber ich habe angefangen Seiten zu überspringen, da ich die Infos schon kannte. Nicht besonders Achtsam von mir. Aber es stoppt mich in meinem Leseflow, weil ich dann lieber gar nicht lese als das.

The streets of four winds: weird little thing

The prophets paradise: interesting but confusing short bits of stories

The Demoiselle D‘ys: very different then the other stories. More of a ghost story/fairy tale

The yellow sign: this story is so sad and beautiful. I think it might be my favorite one till now. The narrators and Tessie’s relationship is so tragic.

In the court of the dragon:
Didn’t like it as much as the previous once, tho it is still written very well.

The mask is quiet sad and much less horror.

Awesome first story! I bought the book because of The King in Yellow and it didn’t disappoint. The slow drive into insanity also had an effect on me while reading it.

I like the comic but didn’t read the original yet

It is really a beautiful horror. I can also see the parts Lovecraft was inspired by.
