They rescued the griffins after an epic re encounter with Meg and battling lityerses. Calypso and Lester together are just so funny I can't. "When in doubt, tater tots" okay?? Anyway they have to go look for the palaces entrance through the city's canal

They’re at the zoo and they’re hiding from lityerses
What I’ve understood so far is this: they have to free britomartis’ griffins from the zoo so they can get the information they need to find where nero or commodus is hiding meg (who escaped them) and georgie and stop the emperors from killing them, all within the span of 3 days

Now I think Apollo misses Meg a lot more than me (he's mentioned how much he misses her like three times in a row) I didn't expect emmie and Josie being together and also having a kid. They've already arrived to the waystation and apollos had this vision of Nero telling Meg not to fail in capturing Apollo (or killing him) and when he saved hemithea and parthenos from dying by making them immortal (and regretting it immediately after)

Idk man, I am caleo's n1 supporter, but I think their relationship so far on this book is a little weird. I hope it develops a lot better throughout the story.

It's been so CONFUSING reading Apollo's first person POV since the last time I read one of those was with Percy, and now reading Lester's thoughts and then not being in Percy's mind, but interacting with him, has gotten me so disoriented. If I don't pay enough attention to what I'm reading I actually think I'm in Percy's POV.

I knew Leo wasn't dead. I'm a genius!!! I figured his whole plan out like 40 pages before all that happened, ever since Leo put the physicians cure into the Argo ii and with that astrolabe I sensed his plan to go back to ogygia . I knew that oath to keep with a final breath was calypso.

Is Reyna ignoring Jason? "Greeks! Let's, um, fight stuff!" Lol the Greeks had no organization compared to the Romans, but they made up for it with enthusiasm (con la realidad bn alterada)

I didn't know Will's personality before reading this tbh. He's just nonchalant and he's very protective over Nico and he cares a lot for him 👀. I love that at first they don't get along well at ALL since Nico doesn't like anybody telling him what to do, and that is exactly what Will is doing. "Some dogs need to be put down. Like you" CLOCK IT NICO!! I hadn't seen any battle like this since the last Olympian.

I really thought Leo being on the Argo ii was an illusion of the mist, but ig it was real (not him calling Enceladus enchiladas). Percy just raised the earth mother with a nose bleed. YESSS NICO AND WILL SOLACE FINALLY!!!

She went from a kleptomaniac girl to an amazing warrior in less than a year. She learned to embrace pain & control her powers to the point where she's really great in battle. I've loved Piper so much ever since the 1st moment I read her. I don't get why people hate her sm.

They FINALLY reached camp!! I missed reading Tyson, and I love that Reyna is back as praetor giving her legion orders. "You're the most courageous demigod I've ever met, Reyna" UGHH I LOVE NICO AND REYNA SM. Reyna killing Orion was honestly really epic since he died at the hands of a girl (and she also choked him lol). Not Leo saying "I'm a Leo, you're a Percy" after percy said he's a leo. But they're in Athens yayy

All da ladies luv Leo!!! We love nearsightedness representation ofc and even better if it's Jason. Piper has gotten so powerful with her charm speak, helloo?? It was a little sad seeing Asclepius know Leo was going to die and then Jason and Piper asking him about that, while he tried to convince them everything was okay. And why did he give Piper the fake cure vial???? Is he going to ogygia??? I don't get it tbh

Yay they got ice cream! I didn't know Zeus was mad at Apollo for Octavian's plans and python being back at the oracle. I like the TOA foreshadowing. And I kind of understand Leo's plan but I don't. I felt like when I was reading the last Olympian and Nico told everyone about his plan but us. So he wants to kill himself and then revive with the physicians cure right? But why does he need to die? I don't get it

Omg Reyna telling her family's story and how she killed her dad? Excuse me??? Didn't see that coming. Nico got +1000 aura after zombiefying Bryce Lawrence, even though he scared Reyna and hedge. I love that he refers to them as their friends—especially Reyna, who he thought he was going to lose to the hunters (just as he did with Bianca) and I love their relationship so much "I trust you, Nico" STOP.

Stop foreshadowing Jason's death please. I really hope he keeps his promise of recognizing all the gods and he tries to make it true. The fact both Percy and Jason have experienced not fighting death is actually insaneeee my poor babies. And I'm feeling very sorry for Nico, like he's working his butt off trying to shadow travel them across the world and he isn't even getting recognized for it.

I didn't know Jason's injury was THAT bad actually, so you're telling me he has a hole in his stomach that goes through his back and he still goes into battle? And he manages to kill a giant? I liked seeing that the crew of the Argo ii were worried about Jason getting out of bed after nearly 2 days — and then he jumped straight into the water just because he trusted Percy. (I couldn't read that much today sorry)

YESSS THALIA IS BACK! I hate Rick Riordan. He literally only remembered he had Phoebe just to kill her. Their plan to use Reyna as an ambush was pretty smart honestly. I didn't expect to see Orion here, much less a fight with him. I felt so bad for Reyna after Orion told her that basically nobody wanted her, and when she saw those ghosts at her old house in San Juan, I really want to read so much more about that.
