Loveeee. I’ve realized that I’ve been putting a lot of pressure on myself to read really advanced books, when in reality, I don’t have to be reading such crazy advanced books. As long as I’m reading, that’s all that matters, not the book itself. I’ve been going about it all wrong, no wonder I keep fluctuating between really enjoying reading to despising it.

I lowk fell off on reading… I’ve just been so sleepy and tired after school that I just get home and sleep, or I just stay up on my phone, trying to make up the time spent at school. But, I finally caught up. I officially detest Christian and his lying, selfish face. Alicia was absolutely failed by everyone around her. The truth is being hidden by every single person around her in some way, they’re all selfish.

I’m dying to know the truth. The slow development of Alicia’s communication is 👌*chefs kiss*

I’m been building up the habit of reading at least 10 pages every day—with exceptions—but today, I read 40 pages. Not because I was trying to “beat my record,” but out of my own interest. I’m truly liking this book. It’s the first time I feel like I’m not forcing myself to read a book. There are parts where I question the author’s knowledge of the mental health industry, but it’s still enjoyable.

Hm, something seems odd with Max, Gabriel’s brother.

I’m getting more and more into the book, an amazing start to my reading journey! I’m finally having that feeling I’d wanting to keep turning the page and read more.

So far, I’m intrigued by the secrecy of Alicia.
