Starting to really enjoy this but it’s still got a lot of words I just don’t know in it

Not the easiest read but it’s been interesting

Got it out of the library to make notes and have promptly read nearly all of it!! So so so good for my research I just wish they weren’t so expensive to buy secondhand or I’d get a copy for myself

I don’t want it to end but I also MUST know how it ends

I’m so hooked on this book now I need to see where it goes

Written so differently to what I’m used to but soooo beautiful I’m hooked already

Everyone who followed me for my age of scorpius review is probably wondering if Milo has scared me off fiction for good based off my current reads

This is so fascinating!!!!!! Also prepare for my reading habits to move from fun gothic horror fiction to just lots of books like this while I prep to start my PhD lmfao

This is not the kind of book I normally read but it’s actually really interesting and is really making me think more about how much I rest and how I could rest more effectively!

Only a tiny book but so so interesting! Will definitely be looking for more books on Palestinian embroidery and fashion

Such a thought provoking book about how fashion intersects with both personal identity and wider cultural identity

I’m so sad I’m nearly finished because this book is just CINEMA

The writing style is everything I just love it

So far I love this. The way it’s narrated is beautiful, it’s a mixture of both the present and Anne Boleyns life, put into her ‘own’ words. It’s dark and a little gory and explicit, but it feels almost sensitively done? Artistically done?

I really don’t like to DNF it feels like a failure but this is so bad oh my god

I’m trying really hard to like this but so far the prose is kind of just rambling and the main characters are all these crazy intelligent people who are also super hot and way cooler than everyone else and it kind of feels like I’m reading age of scorpius again! I’m hoping I’ll warm to it but yeah first impression is meh

I don’t think this is 100% relevant to the module I’m teaching as this is more about teaching design over design theory but it’s been very helpful in giving me ideas on what to change for next term

I really wasn’t sure about this book at first but it has really pulled me in now. It’s so creepy and confusing but things are starting to add up

I’m nervous reading this

I’m gonna be so sad when I finish this book because this series is amazing

I’ve read this book once before a few years ago and liked it, but I think it could be really relevant to what I want to do for my PhD so I’m reading it again in advance of writing my application and it’s as good as I remembered
