I’ve read this book once before a few years ago and liked it, but I think it could be really relevant to what I want to do for my PhD so I’m reading it again in advance of writing my application and it’s as good as I remembered

This has gotten so depressing I almost don’t want to continue it. It is good but reading it makes me feel so anxious and tense that I kind of don’t like it

Hmmmm it’s very descriptive so far. I don’t mind it but definitely different to the style I normally read

I have so many new friends on here thanks to my age of scorpius review hi guys I’m so sad that stupid book will not be getting a rerelease now because I had so much I wanted to complain about

I love this book so much 😭😭 another book I now want to buy my own copy of omg. I’m so relieved there’s another one in the series to read too

I hate how ProQuest makes book pages look now but the book itself is a really interesting read

The vibe is great (by that I mean scary and creepy but I’m enjoying it)

Lot of information to absorb at the start but I like the writing style and I LOVE an 18th century setting

This is SO GOOD. I can tell this is one of those books that’s gonna give me post read depression because I’ll want to read something exactly like it

I was confused about the weird writing style but turns out I’ve just accidentally started reading a book which is like the third or fourth book in a series so maybe it’s just because they’re trying to catch new readers up? Idk it’s interesting but I don’t think I like the writing style very much

I’ve decided I do like this book even if it is a bit pretentious

I was getting really into it then he said he was told to get his appendix removed when it burst and instead he went to a bookstore opened a random book and found a sentence saying not to get rid of your body parts and apparently he was fine so now I’m just scared he’s gonna start radicalising me towards being against 5G but anyway the stuff about creative intuition is sick

Soooo many typos

Chapter 13 made me cringe so bad it felt like rage bait and the ENDING like omg what a fucking useless power

I keep getting these little sections were I’m like okay this is good this is interesting and then the characters will do something dumb or unbelievable and it just pulls me right out of it!!! Some of the plot choices just don’t make sense logically at all

Every decision these people make is so frustratingly illogical, like the conclusions they jump to are INSANE

This is so confusing. Why is her power shape shifting fabric and sand and her sister literally has fire powers. That is so useless. Also there are so many grammatical errors. The story is okay so far other than everything being named in really confusing ways and there being both not enough exposition and yet way too much
