I’m so sad I’m nearly finished because this book is just CINEMA

The writing style is everything I just love it

So far I love this. The way it’s narrated is beautiful, it’s a mixture of both the present and Anne Boleyns life, put into her ‘own’ words. It’s dark and a little gory and explicit, but it feels almost sensitively done? Artistically done?

I really don’t like to DNF it feels like a failure but this is so bad oh my god

I’m trying really hard to like this but so far the prose is kind of just rambling and the main characters are all these crazy intelligent people who are also super hot and way cooler than everyone else and it kind of feels like I’m reading age of scorpius again! I’m hoping I’ll warm to it but yeah first impression is meh

I don’t think this is 100% relevant to the module I’m teaching as this is more about teaching design over design theory but it’s been very helpful in giving me ideas on what to change for next term

I really wasn’t sure about this book at first but it has really pulled me in now. It’s so creepy and confusing but things are starting to add up

Such an interesting read

I’ve read this book once before a few years ago and liked it, but I think it could be really relevant to what I want to do for my PhD so I’m reading it again in advance of writing my application and it’s as good as I remembered

This has gotten so depressing I almost don’t want to continue it. It is good but reading it makes me feel so anxious and tense that I kind of don’t like it

Hmmmm it’s very descriptive so far. I don’t mind it but definitely different to the style I normally read

I was confused about the weird writing style but turns out I’ve just accidentally started reading a book which is like the third or fourth book in a series so maybe it’s just because they’re trying to catch new readers up? Idk it’s interesting but I don’t think I like the writing style very much
