thank god she finally ended it with patrick. but i also have a sinking feeling that will isnt going to recover well from his sickness or view what louisa is doing as a way to keep him around. i think he’s gonna see it as a last hurrah.

peter is creepy asf being 29 and marrying someone FRESHLY 18. their family is also really cold and uppity. oddly enough, alice doesn’t seem to mind.

i’m definitely more invested in this book than i thought i’d be. it’s a narrator i’ve never experienced before: destructive, gay, and very very open about how she’s feeling. i find myself frustrated with Astrid but also feeling bad for her sometimes. it’s frustrating how self destructive she is but it’s sad at the same time.
