Heroine mentions what made her love the hero...it was political stuff and charity works...a wealthy serial killer could do the same things. Maybe I've watched too much Ted Bundy/Jim Jones type documentaries.

I rolled my eyes reading about an uber wealthy Sheikh who wants to abandon fossil fuels while fossil fuels literally fuels everything he enjoys. The smug preachiness of ignorant activism. I read romance to escape that. Now I think the hero is an ignorant hypocrite.

At this point in this book its clear it was written before the cellphone era. The heroine has to use a payphone!

At this point I feel like I'm reading literary fiction where the main characters are dealing with past trauma. The romance development is on the back burner as this is happening this is not good for a romance

Already annoyed by the virgin shaming. Never do I read sexually experienced heroine's friends tell that heroine to stop being an unpaid whore. It's always the heroine or her friends shaming the decision to remain a virgin.
Darn it hope this book isn't annoying in future chapters

Growing disenchanted w/the heroine. Her feminism is annoying. Sacrifice motherhood for business no willingness to find balance. Hoping she changes & grows.

don't like- heroine having a good relationship with the hero's adulertous dad.

Not buying the heroine naivete since she's no sheltered virgin. I'm supposed to be angry the hero dumped the heroine but I'm more angry w/the heroine who got pregnant knowing about birth control!

I'm feeling like crying and I haven't cried over an HP since reading Robyn Donald's Smoke in the Wind.

kinda annoyed with the judginess of the heroine toward the hero. Heck she's thinking of losing her V card to a guy she doesn't know but she's judging the hero for not being a celebate single guy!!
