A short story of brotherhood and war. The some of its parts are good. Pithy and full of brevity it was a quick read but one which didn’t feel like a cheap dinner. More lean steak than beef burger.

Fine. Interesting and funny in parts but something a younger me would love more than current me. Wild in places and the concept is great. The ending surprised me though. Who saw that coming?

The jokes, adventure and philosophy continue and remain consistently good. A younger version of myself would have adored this story and would have shoved it under the nose of all my friends. I’m very impressed how Moore keeps it fresh and is never caught short of a pun or a joke. It making me laugh my head off, but I’m smiling a lot and I’m eager to finish it.
