Not for me. I gave up part of the way through. I know what poachers do to rhinos and elephants, I don’t need o read about it.

Don’t know why I picked this one - perhaps only because it was available at the library. For me the writing was clunky at best. I carried in reading to find to solve the mystery - but there is a major cliff hanger to encourage you to read book No 2. No thanks.

Not usually a short story person but these were excellent and very funny in places.

Good premise but I found the writing style problematic. Don’t think the author capture the first person singular

There is a loony on the streets of Peterborough….he sets people up to play a game - kill or be killed. DI Karen Holt is the only person who can solve this but, unfortunately, she is in suspension.

not particularly compelling and I got fed up of the references to her wife….pity I wasn’t reading an e copy could have done a word count.

Feeling generous so have rounded up to an okay read.

50 pages in and a 4 star minimum, I think
