This book is delicious and has sucked me in totally!!! I have looked forward to it, especially since viewing his talk at the Hennepin County Friends of the Library event last fall. I laughed and I cried. Thank you to the Friends for hosting such wonderful events!!

I am super excited to have received this advanced reader copy from the Goodreads Giveaways!! I am entranced already. The refugee stories are integral to our American success and I am grateful that Vicky is sharing hers.

I am not sure how much I will get "done" this weekend, but I guarantee that I will complete this book!! ;) Stradal has once again filled my soul with some family drama, Minnesota historical references, and a beautiful timeline for the interesting characters that I'm getting to know.

In love with this book already!! Forcing myself up to do some house chores with the "reward" of coming back to this after I get something accomplished today!!! :)
