"He would only die if someone tried to play the hero. It had been such a long summer, the sun so bleak and unforgiving, and at the end of such a wearying decade. He prayed there were no heroes left."

so theyve banged in the future-past but only one of them remembers, and they both want to bang each other in the present but don't cause they have Issues...

Shamefully enjoying this more than I expected 😭

i quite like this so far, it's silly but also people are getting whipped left and right and the translation is good. no chance im reading all 11(!) volumes though

So close to the finish line...I think I'll take a break before I read AssQuest tho, depending on the ending of this one.

reading in german so weird

such a frustrating book atm, i want to like it a lot more than i do 😭

Molly Molly Molly Molly Molly Molly......enough!!!

I felt it all, not just the human folk with their comings and goings, but every pigeon that fluttered in the eaves, every mouse that crept unnoticed behind the wine kegs, every speck of life, that was not and never had been a speck, but had always been a node on the web of life. Nothing alone, nothing forsaken, nothing without meaning, nothing of no significance, and nothing of importance.

not that im having a bad time but not as into it as the first book so far :/ and mostly because seldom ive seen a more boring het romance 😴

not great but it's so short i should probably just finish it...

Finally started for real. I can already tell there's a lot of het romance in this one but I shall suffer through it...

“FitzChivalry Farseer.”
I halted, frozen by the words. I turned slowly.

eyyyyy he got his name ♡

“I like him,” I said lamely. “He mocks me, but from him, it seems a kindness. He makes me feel, well, important. That he could choose me to talk to.”

ehehehe 🤭🤭

“Evil times have come to us, and they will be with us for a long time. It is a time when good men must create whatever weapons they can. I will go to Shrewd yet again, and this time I will demand it. Hard times are here, boy. And I wonder if they will ever pass.”

In the years to come, I was to wonder that often.

Real and true I LOVE THIS BOOK ♡

“Are you sad?” Lily asked.

It was a
relief and a horror to be known so perfectly.

"He could slam the accelerator and swing the car off the road into the ravine alongside the steelworks—smash it into a tree and kill them both. There was nothing Julian could do to stop him."
