Good so far! I like the quick introduction into the characters, but leaving their backstory a slight mystery so you can discover more. And the main plot seems to have developed rather quickly which I like so far and will develop way, way deeper as the book goes on. So far, so good!

Wow, the twist on the quest was so cool!! I didn’t even see that coming! This book continues to surprise me and keep me hooked!

Good gosh that got real dark, real fast. Featherfall, Mrs. Quill, the krasue? Freaking nuts. However, I love to see the depth of the story and how vastly different the first book is compared to this one. And how much Donut has changed.

I’ve heard of Katia and now she is finally here! I love how much of a role Donut and Mongo play in this series. I was worried about them feeling like sidekicks but they feel just as important as Carl!

I haven’t been ready NH this as much because of the red rising re-read but still love this book and series so far!

Good as always. Tried telling Ashley about the scene that I just read… I think she thought I was on drugs 😂😂

Absolutely loving this book. It definitely goes more in depth with the actual story of the floor and quests. Loving it and finding it enjoyable, and finding it odd about the shift of realizing they must play with the game instead of against. Very good writing imo and I’m eager to continue

I’m flying through this book with the new Kindle!

Still loving it! Just read it on my new kindle and it’s freaking awesome. Also, loving the fights with the higher levels, keeps it interesting and action packed!

Warning, Spoilers. I cant believe how F***** hard this book goes! Finding out the Jackal had been cloned literally made me stop what I was doing and listen carefully. Then finding out that Ulysses was nailed to a tree hours after being birthed, or that Lysander is in Darrow’s presence without him even knowing. Lyria’s story is engaging this time around. Im loving this book, after being nervous from Iron Gold.

Still interesting and intriguing, I’m actually starting to even like Lyria’s perspective!

As this book more and more!!

I think I’m hooked on LITRPG’s now. It’s just so intriguing and feels like I’m following along a D&D campaign. It’s funny, tons of action, and I can’t help but love it!

Loving it! I love hearing about the mechanics of it and how you truly don’t know what is going to gain next!

I brought this on vacation to read and got a little under halfway through it. I loved it and took a break on it because I got so invested in Red Rising! Glad to be back in it, the LITRPG is just so cool to experience and the craziness of it all is super fun. Glad to be back into it! Luckily, I liked it so much that I do remember most of the where I left off on so I didn’t have to reread too much.

Learning about how Grace actually came to do this mission, what happened to the team, all the ups and down of the astrophage and gravity and everything has me running through the emotions!! I’m loving it though, and I honestly might not be able to wait until tomorrow to finish the book

Still going good and strong! Curious what will happen to Ephraim during the invasion of the mines with Sefi. Him absolutely tripping while going in to battle and only having a mop to defend himself was quite comical 😂

This is up there for me as one of my favorite books. I just love the story, the characters, all of it. It literally has me waiting and worried about what happens to an alien!! Super enjoyable and with only about 100 pages left, I’m curious what will happen.

I usually hate “split stories” or when the main character has sort of flashbacks and such. But I actually find mussels enjoying them in this. Swing the build up from the beginning to where he is now, but still not knowing what leads him to be on the mission is intriguing! Also, ROCKY. YOU MUST SURVIVE. DONT QUIT ON ME. Just when I was thinking everything was fine, the script flipped and caught me off guard!

Wow, so so much has happened. Sefi possibly going against the Sovereign and using Ephraim and Pax/Electra as collateral, the insane death of Dancer and Daxo, the shift in Darrow with worry. I’m loving this book compared to Iron Gold (no offense to Iron Gold, it set this book up). Also, the comment from Sevro about Pax not being good for Electra due to Pax being smart and Electra likes being stupid was too funny!

It truly has become a friendship between the two and it’s honestly a genuine fascination with one another since they are completely opposite. And again, I feel like this isn’t just your typical “alien” story. It actually has some depth and interaction and keeps the reader entertained.

It’s just really cool seeing the different perspectives come together (such as Ephraim and Mustang or Lysander and Darrow). Everything seems to be coming together and it’s just the first 30%! I’m sure, in good Pierce Brown fashion, a total plot twist will occur that I could have never imagined possible and begin to obsess over!

So far so good!! Picks right up from Iron Gold and already has a crap ton more action in it than Iron Gold! I love seeing the different perspectives lining up and how truly no one has plot armor in this series I feel like. I never know what’s going to happen next, I love it!

I love the relationship between Rocky and Ryland! It’s so funny and heart warming and cool! It’s making me love this book and I feel like it’s a completely different perspective on “aliens” than what’s in the norm and I like that!!

As I stated, this book is actually quite funnier than expected but not only that, you almost get just as excited as Ryland does. And the whole language barrier between Rocky and Ryland, that was such a cool way of going about it! I honestly can’t help but love this book and I’m always curious what is going to happen next because so far, it is nothing that I have expected!

It seems a bit fast paced, but in a good way. I find it still sprinkled with little bits of humor that counters the scientific ideas, problems, and situations presented in the book. I am truly needing and geeking out over this book and am afraid I might finish it faster than anticipated!

Man this is good, I am absolutely loving it! Not like any alien story I have heard of. Quite intriguing and is making me not want to put it down!

It’s actually got quite a bit of good humor in it! It’s still very intriguing and the introduction of extraterrestrial existence and Rylands involvement happens quite soon, only 40 pages into the book! I’m quite enjoying it and the science behind it!
