It's incredibly boring and a pain to get through. The good thing is, it's only 100+ pages—if it were any longer I'd stop reading it.

So far, it's been a rollercoaster. Duke has done a GREAT job at irritating me—might I say he's the worst part of the book. 🥸

Gigil na gigil talaga ako sakanya, because I know for a fact na end game sila ni Sol (yuck!!)

Buti nalang talaga at fictional sya baka tumagos pa 'tong kamao ko sa libro. Dyan na sya kay Mitzie tutal over sa titig sya dyan.

It wasn't as engaging as I thought it would be. I'm not crazy for the book, but it's good. 🤷‍♀️

The game wasn't captivating, it didn't keep me off my toes.

Wala akong curiousity with some of the lore kasi there wasn't anything enchanting about it.

What I find in a fantasy book:
1. Magical
2. Spellbinding

So far Caraval hasn't done a great job in making the book magical nor spellbinding (in my opinion).

I accidentally spoiled myself by searching 'Dante fan art'. Wdym Dante's Legend?

At first I thought to myself "Dante's description looks a lot like Legend's fan art". 💀

Julian comes and goes. One minute he's here and then he's gone?

There are some boring chapters that I don't care for, but it's bearable.

The whole book is just absolutely wonderful. It was hard to put down (coming from me this is rare 😹).

Caraval made me DNF Yellow face. I realized that I didn't have to put up with 200 more pages of June's "horrible" experience of dealing with the consequences of plagiarism.

At this point i'm just forcing myself to finish this book. 🤦‍♀️

It's repetitive and overhyped, it's humorous and witty but it's unbearable. There are details that this book can go on without.

If I were to choose how many pages this book should have, it wouldn't be more than 250 and that's generous.

I've heard great things about RF Kuang and hoped that my first book of hers would be better than this.
