very enjoyable so far! i’m hoping something a bit more interesting happens since we got to the dog bit so fast. and at 60 pages in, i am already getting a bit bored of the pacing and the over-explaining (yes, i get that nightbitch turning into a dog is commentary on motherhood and patriarchy and no, i do not need to be reminded every three paragraphs). interested to see how i feel when i’ve finished reading :)

had to take a hiatus after Lestat said rape is the best feeling anyone could ever experience… i want to finish the first three books in this series and i’ll comeback to it at some point but thag quote rlly just stopped me dead in my tracks
