i usually don’t prefer first person narratives, but i don’t hate it with this and i really like getting backstory for lucy pretty early on. i completely get why she would want to leave her small town and find something new.

the world building so far is really cool! i really like the concept of ghosts being more common and having specific ways to take care of them. i’m curious to see if the locket brings back the ghost from the case at the start of the novel and how everything keeps going.

I’m not quite sure what to make of it yet, I do like that Amie isn’t just automatically fine after getting out of her time loop and it definitely makes sense to be thrown off/anxious about new things after having everything be the same for so long. I don’t know how to feel about the relationship between Amie and her ex though either, they’re so flirty still? I wonder why they broke up in the first place
