I finished part one, and I admit some parts were a bit slow. However, I expect beginnings to be slow after reading so many fantasy books. Part one had a good cliff hanger, as her vision went black, and I feel this is when her and that mysterious guy will finally talk. Maybe, Then later will meet the girl with the hawk as well.

I like the idea of her father being a musician and able to read people easily. I think her father will find her because of her blog, or will just see her blog, that being the reason to seek her out.

It’s great so far! I am confused though about who that guy is who was following her with his eyes.
