My first advance copy! 🤭 Very excited!

Why is there so much emphasis on Ryuka being Asian in every scene?? She's half-white but they never allude to it. Why are we now getting two more Japanese mcs??? Constantly talking about Japanese culture and using random Japnaese words instead of just writing it out in English... Even though I can read it, it's killing me!

Loving that she's beating up well-known adventures with just a frying pan.

I need less Rags and more cute blind guy-troll lady scenes.

If I read one more "This is the story of...", I am going to rip my kindle apart. Also, the story within esthelm actually NEEDED trigger warnings. I didn't want to read through explicit sa or the new "human"'s story.

1.01C... holy smoly.... I'm obsessed.

Love this story but it is very obvious that it was published in a different format. Some parts of repeated a bit too much along with some developments not being clearly explained like the romantic developments..... I do quite enjoy the fighting and magic systems though. Every single character--even the extras--have a fully rounded personality which definitely adds to the immersion.

What is going on?????

There's a unique shift this far into the book. This feels a lot less focused on Donut AND Carl. Rather, it feels as if we are with Carl in his mind fighting his reaction to his moral injuries and his actual parasitic entity despite the absolute insanity of every situation both teams get blasted into.

"They lived, laughed, loved. Yeah, fuck you. I like that expression."
Maybe I understand the AI more than I thought.....
