I find this to be largely review, but there are a lot of little historical snippets that have been fun and entertaining to read.

Learning MySQL since it's a top six programming language, and my professors never mentioned it once in any of the required courses to become a computer scientist, albeit, Bachelor of Arts.

Working on getting certified to bump my resume. Furthermore, average salary of people with this certificate alone is 80k.

This book is helping me with a new business idea, since it helps people.

Excellent book thus far. I particularly enjoy the soliloquy about SaaS and SOA that is pertinent to another CS class I am taking on mobile hybrid development. I think I will do well this semester as a result of reading it.

Learned my first mode yesterday, and knowing another instrument really helps with sight reading. Great book so far.

Very informative and helpful for those who wish to be self learned in the art of electronics.

Done with chapter 2, and now on to chapter 3! I like this text, it's very understandable to me since I am nearly done with my CS degree. I think it will have many useful, practical pieces of information.

All the small details I hadn't paid attention to (in class) are revealing themselves in this book like all of a sudden seeing the land beyond the horizon.

I am learning about AES, DES, 3-DES, symmetric encryption.

It's not as fast a read as the original two novels in the series, but I like it better this way because in some ways it's more realistic than fantastic.
