Within the first couple of pages of this book, I must say I was creeped out. The thought of being hunted by soemthing you know is dangerous, but don't actually know what it is, is terrifying. What makes it more disturbing is that the creature is clearly intelligent, and the retriever seems to always know where the creature is and vice versa. I'm looking forward to reading more of this book!

The book has kind of transitioned past the creepy parts for now. At the moment, it's like watching the funeral of a distant, mutual friend of whom you don't know too well, through a close friend's eyes. It's not particularly saddening for me at this stage, however, the book itself is quite dark as it seems it talks about death and awful lot, and several people have died so far.

It's gotten to the point now where the book has started to frighten me a little bit. I think it's more disturbing than outright terrifying, but I've found myself watching my back in the dark a little bit for some reason, and double checking every corner of my room before I go to bed at night. I don't know what I'm expecting to be there, but it's having that effect.

The book and story has really picked up in terms of action in the last 60 pages or so. It always makes you expect death or illness is coming in some way shape or form. It is quite morbid in the sense that you think something bad is going to happen whenever a new topic or break is mentioned or encountered when reading it. It is really engaging, and I am looking forward to reading it next.

I've just passed the part of the book where the first death takes place. It gives me the first hint about the Pet Cemetery being bad news, whilst creating an interesting scenery in my head when reading. This part of the book almost prepares me, and urges me to expect that something bad will come from the next journey to the Cemetery. The book is becoming more and more engaging with each page I read. Brilliant story!

I'm enjoying this book so far. It feels as though I'm inside the scenes with Louis and Jud particularly. There's a sense of comfort when reading this book so far, especially in bed after a long day a work. I don't know how long that will last though...until the book becomes unsettling I mean.

It seems the more I read this book, the more I wish the reading experience wouldn't have to come to an end. I feel as though this book should have at least 1000 more pages for me to read. I'm truly hooked. Love this book!

I'm really enjoying this book so far. It describes how the Subaru Impreza starts off as a development from the Legacy and Leone and develops into the Impreza made to "impress". The way that Subaru engineers stuck with their gut and kept the AWD system and unique flat 4 engine, constantly searching for ways to be different is truly fascinating. This book has so far provided an amazing insight into the Impreza's roots.
