i feel like is this is early 20th century TLC reality tv (plathville, sister wives). i’m already in. you can tell she had a lot of fun writing it. i love how witty it is.

i get the sense that he wrote this for himself and his own joy while grinding away at an uninspiring day job. there's a whole rant about how corporation's bureaucracy takes away accountability and thus why everything is a joyless slop.

this novella is his creative outlet and no one else need to understand it.
