Slowly plodding along. Partly, it's very dense, but also partly, some chapters are incredibly engrossing, and others are very meandering and it can be hard to see the point.

It's really picked up now.

Making progress slowly. The writing remains excellent, I'm just not really into the police/detective genre generally, sadly.

So far so good - some very old school horror writing, lots of suspense and dread and creepy stuff happening.

So far, it's not really "un-put-down-able", as The Martian was. Interesting enough, though.

Loving it so far.
