This is currently our book club book!

I find it kind of funny how pages 1-50 were very tease tease and witty get to know each other, but up to page 103 the yearning comes at you full blast. It pains me reading about them because they just want each other so damn bad T-T

The plot is fairly predictable and all the background characters (not so much the side characters) are pissing me off. Adam makes it enjoyable though~

WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO THE MYSTERYYYY (and the end of the book)

I haven’t read a short book in a while, so I think it’s really cool how a sci-fi romance can establish so much world-building, budding romance, and characterization in 50 pages. But I really enjoy the parallels between these two characters and how they’re written as opposites. Especially how the words “red” and “blue” pop up in their chapters within the narration.

I’m annotating it and it’s taking so damn long BUTTTT the story is FINALLY starting to pick up. We’re actually getting somewhere now and we’re done with context so hopefully it won’t be long now.
