So much hype on this book and I don’t hate it yet but it’s a lot of clunky dialogue- especially when trying to provide world background. She’s spouting off the history of her world to distract herself during a life-threatening trial? It just feels really forced.

I’m not ready for this to be over yet. 🥵😭

The narrator is so good. 😍

I want to like this but I’m super bored 😐 there’s very few werewolves so far for this to be a werewolf book…

Listening and reading this on kindle. It’s so long but I am swept up in the story.

This is a really good book but it’s so depressing and I can’t handle it right now. Maybe it’s the narrator? Idk. :( DNF for now.

I’ve started reading this twice but I can’t get over the overly long, clunky sentences. There’s something weird about the structure and it makes me re-read the lines over and over. I struggle when there’s a ton of description between dialogue, it bounces around too much. I know a lot of people love this series but I have to DNF
