Wow. This is going to be a tough one to finish. I love EG but what are we doing here? It's one thing to have Shea dating her bffs dad who practically raised her. but completely appalling to not only excuse abuse bc Ryan is a starting quarterback in the NFL. but to also know about his long standing abuse and then choose to NOT believe that he would sexually assault someone... like that's some line he wouldn't cross...

Okay. I like the book but I think it's really weird that Shea is not only overly obsessed with Coach Carr... but the creepy way they keep implying she is attracted to him... normally I would root for it to happen but that's her best friends dad who she has known since birth... ew.

Okay so the killer was probably the most obvious choice and I guess I thought there might be a twist? There still could be! I hope so. The motive is a little weak so far. But! I am still really loving the story and how it is written! I am excited to see how it ends!

Okay. I still believe Eva might not be dead? Topher is too obvious to be the killer. I did think Ani would have been a part of whatever was going on but now that they killed her off... hmm. Could Erin ultimately be the killer, no I guess not with her bum foot... but Liz is also way too obvious! Idk!

Okay it was a build up. But now thw avalanche has happened and I'm not sure if I'm convinced Eva is dead? And Liz seems like she might be a serial killer or something lol! I know she is supposed to be underprivileged and not fit in but she just seems off...

Now that I know who all the characters are i am invested! It just took longer than usual to figure them all out and remember who is who!

I really hope Claudia doesn't end up with Ben! He was such a jerk about having a baby and no matter how many times or different ways she tried to tell him she didn't want one he kept pushing and then was a total asshole to her before just giving up on the marriage! When she flat out asked him if he would pick their marriage over having a baby he was just like NOPE! I also don't think her and Richard belong together.

When will this end!?!? This book is insufferable. If I wasn't committed to my book club I would just throw this book in the trash.

Well, still no plot. This book is honestly just stupid. Every chapter is the same thing over and over again... and it's like a high school kid wrote it.

This is creepy and not in a good way... Josh is not a likeable character at all. Aly is meh. The cliche of the cat not liking anyone but somehow likes the weirdo who broke into her house? I'm really trying to give this a chance but the writing is not well done.

LISTEN. My mom picked this up at Ollie's for $1.99 and omg. This is good! It feels like I'm reading a lifetime movie, but not in a cheesy way! I kind of hope Anna gets to be with Tommy because he clearly does NOT deserve his wife!

I said it once and I'll say it again, JP is a BUM. What do any of these women see in him!? I am VERY curious how Carson and Zach end up... and who the hell killed Vivi!?!

There is so much going on with each character I don't even know where to begin... but JP... I cannot. He cheated on Viv after 16 years of marriage and left him for Amy who was much younger and has just spent the last 10 years leading her on and now he just wants to drop her like a hot cake! And I don't like that he might hook up with Savannah! Vivi idk what shes thinking approving this! Jp is clearly a BUM!

Wow. This one is just as twisted as the first in the best way possible! Definitely keeping me on edge and wanting to know what comes next/how it all ends.

So is the mystery man Henry!? Is Henry evil!? What happened to Phin!?

So good! Excited to see where this story goes!

Boy oh boy. I will still say that I enjoy the book. However, it could have been about 100 pages less than it is. Unless something completely wild happens at the end, I just don't get where else we would be going with this story... and we still have zero clue who Angela even is or who here parents were... just Viv writing 300+ page letter all about herself to explain to Angela who she was to her father!

It's been a fun story so far. I can see why people say it drags a little... but getting into the nitty gritty and drama now!

It's a fun story! I'm trying to figure out if there is a serious health problem with Peg or if she is just an alcoholic? If Viv and Celia will have a falling out? Does Edna have good intentions?
