I actually enjoyed reading the begining of the book, its was like a independent woman x flirty man trope. Together they are trying to solve a mystery about Gareth's mother and her kinda diary written in italian. Ik was a quick paste, but Gareth, idk i do not like him. He has this past with his father and wants to prove him wrong. So thats why he liked Hyacint. Also allot of their kissing scènes felt forced.
