Wow!!! This book really floored me! All the connections is crazy!!! Ms. Della being the daughter gagged me!!!!!!! Ezra being immortal was crazy! But i love the fantasy element. Giving sinners vibes. I love when Black people explore genres. I can’t wait to see how they break the curse…. Or not.

So far I’m intrigued! I’m interested to see where the love stories go. I love how it’s two stories into one. I don’t know how they correlate yet but we shall see! Breeze backstory is heartbreaking. Ugh. And this man obsessed with Ricki?? I need to know what’s tea!

This book started off a little confusing. But after Mordecai explained it, i get it. I’m realizing this book with challenge my imagination. I have to really think big when imagining these scenes. And i haven’t had to do that so far in my reading journey. So I’m excited!

Spicy!!!! I actually love the connection Sloane and Dominic have. She needed someone to be patient with her and Dominic is perfect because he will love her no matter what. I’m actually very anxious about when Mama and Mal find out about their relationship 😭 i understand her reservations but LOVE WINS!! Like her happiness should be over it

The chemistry between Dominic and Sloane is already so good 😭 it’s giving he just decided to be stiff with her because technically he saw her/loved her first before his best friend got to her but the other people didn’t know that. The way he saved her from that creep was toooo good. I’m already locked in!!!

Okay. It got messy but then the mess was over rather quickly….. now Tej/Vik acting like he don’t like her when he obviously do??? And Harlow confused cause she feel the energy but he won’t budge. Idk. I feel like they have chemistry but then again they don’t. The whole match maker thing not really making sense. Imma see it through tho

This book is messssyyyyyyyyyy omg. Harlow friend Lita being the one who marrying Tej…. Tej deep down wanting Harlow. Tej cousin being in love with Lita?!??! Omgggg i wasn’t expecting this type of mess!!!!

Decent so far. They’re doing a good job setting up the motives of both Harlow and Tej. Harlow’s mother is… something. And Tej is a certified playboy 😂 i can’t wait to see how Harlow gets him to change mind on marriage and love cause rn he’s so against it. And i can’t wait to see how Harlow can find real love and not have to do whatever her mom tells her. I’m interested!

I think Mare is adjusting well to the life but I’m glad she’s apart of the Scarlet Guard as well. Idk how I feel about Cal….. he’s a sweetheart but he’s forced to have duty. I’m fully locked in now!

Mare life turned upside rather quickly. I don’t understand why Evangeline has beef with her…. Especially since she doesn’t know her secret. I like how Cal and Maven are both nice to Mare. They don’t seem cruel. Again I’m intrigued by the story and interested to see where it goes.
