Why do good folk die the way they do? The trial of seven is such an important piece of Westorosi history. It encapsulates the duality of knighthood in the 7 kingdoms: Those who take the vows and discard them for glory and vanity and those who uphold their vows with honor and grace. It is true that a knight can make a knight. But knighthood is a title given to a body. Only your soul can fill it and make it real.
