Don’t laugh! I know I don’t (and likely never will) live on a homestead, but I heard this lady on a podcast and loved her so here I am

Skimming now, but she just suggested disassociating and pretending like you’re stoned to cope with your toddler’s tantrum

I am barely creeping through this… it seems like there’s some good advice in here and she’s challenging a lot of harmful modern day parenting advice like super strict routines, avoiding discipline, etc. but does this lady hate her child!? She complains about her own child on almost every page. She’s called her annoying and a “pain in the butt,” among other things. Not sure how much more I can stand

Unfortunately jumped ship to Fable and hated it so here I am scrambling to remember all my Goodreads data since they don’t save it 🫠 whoops
