DNF’ed at 4% I’m sorry the writing was quite bad! None of the sentences sounded right in my head and it physically hurt my brain to read. I’ve heard so many good things about her books and I just can’t seem to find one that supports the hype. I’m not trying to be a hater I just was expecting more. I still have mayhem and the mortal on my TBR if that one does EAT I think I would have to move on from Shanora

Off RIP (funny cause the first chapter’s title is R.I.P) not super JAZZED about how this book reads…..some of the sentences just don’t sound right in my head and honestly that’s a huge no no for grandma. Imma keep reading to see if it gets better… this book has a 4.4 rating it has to get better right?

I’ve been avoiding this one in the series but, let’s do it

This whole scene is so weirdly placed i don’t know also……. is it just me or in the beginning (I don’t feel like going back) was Finn written as a pro hockey player? I remember a scene where he was signing autographs and talking about kids that wanted to play in college

Not gonna lie this is slowly becoming a hard read the pacing is just weird and while the main characters are very cute the background story feels under-developed and so VERY BOOOOOORRRRRRRRRIIIIIINNNGGGGG I love romance books with a little extra depth but the foundation for the deeper themes in this book are rocky (other than Finn’s amnesia) grandma is struggling to be engaged.

Took a while to get into. There were a couple of structural issues and some SPELLING ERRORS BUT the plot WAS TEWWWW cute and I’m not DNFing any books this year. Kinda glad I stuck it out
