Loses the plot pretty fast. Great concept of a gaslighting killer in chapter 1 but disappointing payoff. Scream, this is not.

its like a mix between Fault in our Stars, Be Kind Rewind and 10 things i hate about you. Funny, crude and enjoyable high school fare.

Sensational storytelling so far, why had I not read this yet!

So far this is very good. Its nerdy, it's funny and its optimistic which is a stark contrast to many more serious books i've read lately

Gripping kidnap mystery on the mexico/usa border. solid so far.

it doesn't get any more logical. but I can clearly site about a dozen horror movie tropes being referenced by this point. crazy stuff.

This book reads like a crazy nightmare. But, there's too many laugh out loud moments to call it a horror story. I'm hooked.

The further I get the more ridiculous this story becomes. But frankly I'm loving Allan's historical adventures! bravo.

This story works as one of those chase comedy movies, like baby's big day out. only our protagonist is 100 years not 100 days old. I'm enjoying it's wit, but it's the surprising historical stories from Allan's past that make this one worth reading.

this was just a pleasure to read. simple and uncomplicated these stories capture the feel of the golden age without feeling dated. killer moth making a comeback was a great surprise.

honestly these year one comics are some of my favourite comics. the simple art style with its beautiful colours. the first encounters with villains like two face and mad hatter. they rule. seeing our heroes fail and learn from their mistakes is just great fare.

this is riveting stuff. all those years studying Indonesian in primary school and yet I never bothered to read anything about Indonesian history. this is incredible stuff.

For those that loved ER, RPA, but have an interest in volunteering, this book provides some great reading. tragic, honest but often funny and uplifting, hard to put down.

more philosophical than I expected. gets a bit preachy here and there. but I'll finish it before I judge it anymore

mixing romance, street art and growing up. This book is a terrific read. The way Cath Crowley describes adolescent feelings of desire, frustration and excitement is very true to life. The Melbourne setting is refreshing and the topic of graffiti is handled in a way that doesn't leave you feeling like your being lectured. this is fun poetic fiction. bravo!

so far this book has surprised me with its research and charm.

this book was like a roller coaster. it had me with its entree of wit and satire, but the more sinister main course really satisfied me. very good. not for the reader who likes there stories safe and happy.
