This is a beautifully written story
- I think I relate most to Sylvie at this point but the twins also intrigue me
- Charlie’s death would have been more impactful if we learnt about his value before he died not after. Up until now I thought he was just a drunk who lacked ambition with a random love of poetry. But he really took the time to see his daughters for who they were.
- Rose is an uptight bitch sorry

I love whatever the fuck is wrong with dr Tuttle the pill pushing nutbag
I get that Reva is worried about her …”friend”…. But for fucks sake leave her alone no one asked for all these opinions and unsolicited shitty advice what a useless person
Not saying the main bitch is a great person but I kinda like her and I’m so curious to know how this terrible plan actually ends up

I am enjoying this, yes Julia is flawed but not unlikeable she only wants the best for everyone. Though I don’t think she really cares to ask what William really wants. How old was this dad to drop dead like that?

I loved this book so much.
The ending was very impactful, I was hoping they’d name the baby their mother’s name or something maybe even Paula.
TRUMAN!! 🥹❤️ I know they’ll be friends again one day, maybe Mickey will volunteer to help addicts in the area like he does.
Simon deserved to relapse I hope he lands on the streets and dies.

This book just keeps getting better I COMPLETELY forgot about Eddie flaherty I remember wondering what the point of his character even was other than showing us Mickey prefer familiarity or being alone. I really hope Truman forgives her and they become besties again. Oh and AHERN definitely knows Flahery is guilty too

I don’t know how I feel about this book. I may not be the intended audience? I don’t feel intelligent or intellectual enough for the academic essay style writing which 50% consisted of. It did make me ponder though and I guess that was the point? Let’s say 3.8 stars

Something is absolutely not adding up maybe the guy they arrested is the murderer but doesn’t explain any of the other mysteries and it also seems to easy to be him

Crickey how does the author think of this stuff?! I can’t help but feel like the whole “main character” story is a university reading on race, sexuality, gender and internet culture all in 1 and I need to go back to uni to understand it as half went way over my head. But I guess that’s the point, this book is supposed to outrage and make us think about the discourse we blindly exist in on the daily

I still don’t believe Kacey is dead. Also idk about Simon being the murderer either unless he’s working with the guy who keeps knocking on Mickey’s apartment. Orr maybe that guy is actually good and is with kacey trying to make contact? Sooo sad to hear that Simon had other young women he prayed on and clearly still is.

The Thomas story line in this book gives me so much joy and heartbreak every time. His happiness at his birthday and at Lauren’s solidarity made my heart sing and then the Simon debacle devastated me. He is a disgusting piece of shit. Onto baby mumma child bride number 3! I doubt it will happen in the book but I hope Lauren and Mick become friends. Also WHO has been visiting her apartment?? Eeekk

Ok story 4 is definitely the most articulate but lord it’s turning me more right winged by the word and idk if it’s supposed to have the opposite impact or not but this is exactly what I mean when I say some people just want to be victims so bad. I mean why did Bee choose to live in a co-op if she didn’t want to live socially? And why can’t minorities educate others, it’s not lazy it’s curious to ask

Wow those edits as he realised his story was psychotic had me cackling the whole time!!! What an absolute dumbass!! I still want to know what happened to Alison though but this story has been my fave so far and made up for the disgust that made me DNF the 3rd story

I had to skip the 3rd story it grossed me out and made me cringe more than I’m willing to accept.
This 4th one however is hilarious I thought this walking ick 2.0 was going to end up a psyco and kill Alison for not keeping her promise…also will we find out what the hell made Alison wig out like that??

Yes she made some mistakes but I feel for Alison and can’t help but relate to her. Neil was a self righteous absolute dick, I know too many Neil’s. And her “friends” were just as fake as she called them in the group chat she was lucky to be rid of them but sad she didn’t have any real friends to turn to after. Neil inviting Alison to his wedding and treating her like shit?? Just leave her alone 😭
