I kept thinking about full metal alchemist brotherhood while listening to this book. When they were performing alchemy with no transmutation circle I just kept thinking ‘they’ve seen the truth’. Also this might be a hot take but I think Will had crazy potential to be the main love interest. Even with him doing what he did. If there was more dimension to his character I think I would have rooted for him.

I didn’t know this a banned book! I’ve seen so many reviews of people saying this book changed their lives, but I’m not seeing what they are throwing down so far. The only memorable quote I heard so far was that mothers love the ugly children the most! Like why would they have to mention that!? And what about the ugly duckling he wasn’t loved the most.

Dude why they don’t they just kill the father-in-law and the husband? They are painting the husband to be a decent guy, but he’s not that oblivious!
