Prince Andrew is back in Moscow and heard the news that Natasha broke it off to be with Anatole. Natasha tried to poison herself because she found out Anatole was already married to some peasant. Lots of drama

Anatole Kuragin and hatched a plot to steal Natasha from Marya Dmitrievna’s house and elope. But Marya had her doorman stop them and they ran off. For now they are all keeping it a secret. Natasha wrote a letter to princess Mary breaking off the engagement with Prince Andrew

Started book 8. The little princess is dead (which is why Pierre was depressed and became a freemason)

In book 7. Natasha is waiting her 1 year while prince andrew is engaged to her and enjoying his European vacation.

In book seven, everyone is back home. Pierre is obsessed with being a Freemason. Nicholas is falling in love with Sonya again because she put on a fake moustache. Tolstoy is not slick with his moustache obsession

Slowest book on the series so far. First half of the book could use way more knights watch and Daenerys and way less Brieene and the iron islands. I feel like the priorities are off so far

Writing this so I can help remember everything that happened haha.

Up to book 4. Prince Andrew almost died at Austerlitz, saw napoleon, then didn’t . But his wife the little princess with a moustache died in labor. In a duel, Pierre shot dolokhov over his wife Helene, but he survived. Nicholas just gambled his family fortune away to dolokhov and it’s obviously because they’re after the same girl (Sonya)
