This is a book that I expected so much more from and was left underwhelmed for the majority of the book. Outside of the first 100 pages and the last 2 chapters, there was no real captivating storytelling done throughout the novel. I read this because I wanted to feel raw pain and emotion and the pain and emotion that I was looking for never came unfortunately.
