Blatant continuity error where early in the book it is repeatedly stated to be late summer or early autumn, too late to grow crops, but then later it's stated to be late spring.

In the original it was also Autumn or Late Summer.

This book might turn me off Reacher novels for good.

It's so boring. It's so dull and formulaic and there's so much needless exposition! All the competency of Killing Floor is traded in for quick Wikipedia article blurbs about every dam thing.

1st off the whole monologue about the Beretta v.s. the Glock is so stupid sounding as someone who knows firearms. It sounds like a kid writing about what their parents do for a living. To be clear, a 9mm has the same stopping power no matter what gun it's fired from because the gun is not what hits the person nor propels the bullet.
