I thought what I needed was more Cora Rose but this one doesn't seem to be doing it for me. Finding it hard to believe anything 😅

I wish we were given a background of what happened between Wyatt and Matthias. Wyatt's acting up just seems pointless to me. Also, how did he go from wealth to penury within one year! I need more believability to keep reading. Having already read and loveeedd the second installment and its characters, I need this to shape up soon!

I do feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over again. The yearning I have now is the one where I need this story to end soon!

I am so lost. There seems to be a history amongst these characters. I think I'll need to pause and go read the original series.

There's no explanation as to why Aspen, a 20 year old boy hates commitment and love this much. Makes absolutely no sense as to why we are being subjected to this much talk. It's exhausting.

I'm not feeling any sympathy for Noah and he's not trying to be likeable

Too many grammatical errors/typos. Plot and writing seems very childish/not believable at times. I've gotten to like NA romances a lot but I mind bad writing. I need to believe the words

Aside from the fact that not a fan of romances that start with such deep loss, I miss tension in this narrative. Just too bland. Not a bad story, just not holding my attention enough. I think I'll put this one on hold for now.

Nice enough story but weighed down by a ponderous descriptions and a slow narrative style. I've spent a good number of pages with an unprogressive interaction between the H and h. Just this constant back and forth that seems to be leading nowhere.

This is my valiant third attempt to read this highly lauded, highly rated novel. This is the farthest I've come and I still have not been able to summon any sympathy or concern for the characters. None at all. Galbadon's casual style of writing just isn't for me. I need some intensity to keep me interested. The narrative is just so bland and laid back.

You think you can juggle two books... Until you get sucked into one story and can't keep it down...

It's taking me a while to get into this story. Very unusual. It's always so easy to read SB's thrillers. Sting just isn't hitting that mark for me. I hope it gets better.

There have been a couple of laugh out loud moments but it's definitely not as engaging as the previous two. Ralf and Judith still my favorite couple so far.

There's just something about this book. Someone used the word mundane. I think that's the perfect description. It's mundane. Very ordinary, clichéd and uncaptivating.

Gave 4 night hours to read half of this emotionally intriguing story. I missed precious sleep but this is just so good!

So bland... It's doing absolutely nothing for me.

I loved Kelly in book 1, he was funny, playful and kind. I looked forward to his story, and now this. I'm tired of the never ending back and forth he is having with Ashlynn over sex. It's too, too much. He's also suddenly metamorphosed into a whiner. He needs a compliment every other second...ugh!

I keep getting a deja vu-ish feeling about this one. Like I've watched the movie somewhere or like I've read it before! I need to sort myself out or I may miss enjoying the story.
