Everything's such a mess at this time in Star Wars history. It's very sad, very dark. But, I knew this going in and accepted it years ago....

I bought this a few years ago, and I took too long to get to it. The story has started right off with being so disturbing and upsetting for a character--ugh. The Nihil are just horrible!! I soooo want to see them get what's hopefully coming to them. Light And Life to JLG! Not going to say who that is because that would spoil too much.

Well, I've been reading comics for so long, I don't trust what has just happened or what it LOOKS like has just happened lol. I don't want any false hope....

I'm going to switch to reading this series by volume rather than issue, at least for this first volume because I've already read quite a bit of it. I want to avoid the cliffhangers at the endings of the issues. Cliffhangers typically drive me nuts lol.

Just want to say that I love that huge sheer exo-mech or whatever the hell it is that was suddenly on Green Lantern. Where can I buy one of those?

At this point I'm as confused about what's going on in this as the characters are lol. It's fine though--it's still been a really good comic....

I'm really enjoying this, even the shifts in the art style to when it gets sketchy, which if you know of my other comments about comics here, liking that this time is really something coming from me. Also, there are instabilities to the story and the characters, some of which I know from other Valiant comics. So the shifting art fits. I love cute little Tama and her little Casper-The-Ghost-looking companion!

It's "early days" in my read, but so far, this is cute and different. It has a Star Wars feel mixed with some weird ancient mythology.

I've been reading this fast--the art is simplified so there aren't as many details for me to look at, but I just hope I haven't been wasting my time again with this writer: the last time I read a comic of his, the ending was such a frigging downer--and right before then the main character wound up revealing that he'd done something so sick and cruel, I no longer gave a shit what happened to him in the end.

This starts off with the heroes being up shit's creek without even a sliver of a wooden paddle.

This one's going better for me than the #1.

This story's exciting but also kind of confusing and all over the place. The art has a crispness and a clarity to it that I really like and am enjoying while trying to figure out what the hell has gone on, what the hell is GOING on, and what the hell it all means....

Am going through some of the earliest Batman comics. Seeing someone sitting at a simple table simply playing solitaire with a set of playing cards takes me back--not THIS far back. I'm not that old. But, as a kid in the 70s, I spent so much time playing solitaire--no electricity required, no friends required, just a simple fun delight I could focus on....

Very soon I'm going to remove the 5th and 6th Star Rose books from being published. There has never been any interest in those two, and the 1st four SR books are dead too. Right now, I'll leave those available. But it looks like I will be pulling them all down. That series is just completely dead. I need to move on from all of this within the next year because of 60 coming up next year....

This is mostly a really good story; I've been zipping through it....

Damn, that was terrible.... Some sick evil scum just did something horrible. I hope they get what they deserve, and then some.

I really like the art style in this, and I think it suits the eerie, more unusual content. There's helpful backstory in here about Shadowman that I didn't know.

Using my comixology subscription, I spent a while before looking for and borrowing a lot of Valiant & other lesser-read comics that I'd never seen before. It's so hard to find the lesser-known--Amazon hides too many books in favor of other books. IMO, the reading public's no longer the main reason why books of whatever kind become a success--the gatekeepers and their big money and marketing are. And it really sucks.

This is a dark story so far....

The Bungalow House story is so creepy and keeps disturbing me so much, I dread going back into reading it. Ligotti's writing is very effective, a little too effective at times....
