start of book 5. zeus and all having a meeting at Mount Olympus, where Athena shared her despair for Ody, seeking Zeus’ help. Zeus decreed that it is not Ody’s fate to die alone, far from his people, and
shall return to his place with his family and Calypso to set him free. He shall travel with raft? then 20/10 days sailing he will meet land, where the people there will give him gold etc. Hermes the messenger.

end of book 4. The suitors just realised that Tele isn’t at Ithaca, and he had embarked on a journey to find his dad, currently at Sparta? His mom realised too and was saddened by it, since now the suitors have planned to ambush and kill Tele. Athena came as a phantom of Penelope’s cousin? and told her not to worry, as Tele hasn’t and didn’t anger any of the gods, and is decreed to return safely.

tele had a talk with king melenaus. King melenaus told his story of his journey back to Sparta, mainly when he and his troops were stranded at Pharos, an island near Egypt. There, he met a sea goddess, Eidothia who told him he can get answers, like which gods are preventing his journey back by planning a surprise attack on Proteus, a sea god, who is like Poseidon’s secretary. Proteus told the story of his comrades

when Tele and King Nestor’s son arrived at Sparta, when King Melenaus was hosting a double wedding (his daughter with the son of achilles, and his son w someone else (son isn’t born from Helen)). They feasted.

finished book 3. Athena revealed herself to Nestor, Tele and the people. apparently Nestor’s dad, Neleus, is a son of poseidon. King Nestor had a feast for Athena. King Nestor then sent his son to embark on the journey to sparta with Tele. And Trojan war is between Sparta - Troy.

starting of book 3. he met king nestor, him and his people were doing a fest, offering up sacrifices for the earth shaker, poseidon. him and tele talked about his dad

starting the second book. the meeting is taking place. one of the suitor asked for tele to send his mom back to her dad and to pick a suitor she prefers. he countered and said he would never do that ultimatum to his mom.

finished book 1. After Athena’s advice, he grew a backbone and declared that there will be a gathering tomorrow morning, and the olympians would show a sign, whether for the mother, Penelope to marry a suitor or not. The suitors are pissed that he has balls now, and some are after Penelope for the throne, some just lusts for her?

apparently, odysseus angered poseidon by blinding his cyclops son, polyphemus. Hence, poseidon kinda swayed his journey, so that ody is taking way way longer to be back home, icathia. he’s stuck at the island cuz of calypso, a bewitching nymph, the daughter of titan atlas. the other gods gathered at mount olympus and try to devise a plan for ody’s journey back

julius got assassinated. some said it’s just he died because he just dgaf anymore, some said he’s old and bit sick. the people apparently didn’t hate him, at least not as much as they would approve of him being murdered. the co conspirators way of killing were harsh. he also ignored all the bad omens and haruspex’s warning. all the bad guys died no longer than 3 years(?) after his murder. most tragic deaths.

he treat his army very well, they’re very brave, legions are super strong cuz of that and how they are loyal to each other. he always referred to them as comrades, so once, to face the mutineers, the ninth? legion? he referred them as civilians and they immediately bow down or smth and beg caesar and said, we are your army and begged to fight for him in africa, but is said that caesar never gave in to that ask.
