We see the start of the animals division, the pig’s hierarchy, napoleon’s betrayal and hunger for power.

Only 12 pages in, and this book is so amazing. It truly highlights society today and shows the lack of change over the years since the book has been written. The use of the animals to represent the working ordinary citizens in society and man to represent the rich is so incredibly smart and powerful.

It’s really interesting so far, the story telling is really gravitating and not boring. A lot of detail/ a lot of things that have already happened within the three chapters.

First bits of abuse seen from Stanley, the way the friends react show how normalised violence is in New Orleans and how often Stella faces this from Stanley.

So far pretty interesting, I suspect Blanche is an alcoholic and holds a lot of resentment towards Stella and Stanley is your typical Macho man and views women as a source of his entertainment. I don’t like the fact that the negro woman has no name and is just that!
