This is kind of bumming me out lol, I like some of this author's later books so I wanted to give this an honest shot, but the plot seems to be taking a backseat to the main character having physical chemistry with every male character she meets. Becca doesn't seem to have any personal goals, traits, or personality other than reacting to men in her life. I'm going to try my hardest to finish this one

I like this author for her Defy the Night and Cursebreaker series, so I wanted to try this earlier book. So far it's kinda cringe 😂 but interesting enough premise since I love urban fantasy so giving it a chance for a while longer

Dang this is getting super good, I wasn't sure where it was going but now I can so clearly see the insanely clever metaphor he's got going on and commentary on AI and what it's doing to human society. Soooo good, I can't wait to see how it ends cuz it feels like the stakes are sorta personal as a creative myself 😅
