THE ANIMATED STRAW IM DYING

very interesting already!! im glad i picked this up!

its a pretty horrible feeling reading about how this place came to be… and im only 40 pages in :/

also, coincidence? page 40 refers to a James Hingston Tuckey who died whilst on an expedition of the congo river in africa. i just finished heart of darkness, wonder if theyre related or not

finally on chapter 3… man…

chapter two is a bit more interesting but still there are many sentences which i believe could be halved in length and still get the message across :/

finished chapter one. after weeks ;-; lol

im learning new words lmao but im struggling to find the plot particularly interesting

man im kinda struggling w this one, my fault for going for classic ig

IM TOO DUMB FOR THIS SHAGSFJSKD

ts got so much more interesting all of a sudden lol

bro folded so fast lol

a LOT of this is probably going over my head but it is proving very interesting at least

Can’t say I didn’t see jasmine coming but the kid I didn’t expect.. worried about where this is going tbh

Idk maybe bro ate his kid

UM this is,, interesting. I guess???

I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out when the main character is being referred to or if it someone else bc the author/translator never uses his name, only ‘he’ or ‘him’. There was one chapter with three men talking and it was very confusing lol but maybe that was on purpose

GODDAMN GET ‘EM ROBIN

This shit def gay

Also I accidentally spoiled smth for myself NOOO im trying my best not to think about it asfafshsjdkd

Finished book 2, I really like Griffin as a character and how he kind of functions as a future Robin, at least to me

Rip Anthony.
I can’t tell if Robin is lowkey crushing on Ramy or if it’s just written like that LMAOOO

Me brain hurts

Finished book 1. I’m not ready for what smells like a great tragedy approaching :(

The written version of the taumoeba acquisition was less stressful than the movie version lol.

“…a centimetre thick and a foot across.” Are we fr rn grace 💀😭

Rocky has arrived :D

It’s super cool reading about the way they figure out how to communicate
