I’ve been matching my first Legendary difficulty run-through with what I’ve been reading, and let’s just say it took 3 evenings and several full-mission restarts to beat Truth and Reconciliation.

I’m not sure if I haven’t been following along stringently enough, but a lot of characters seem to not translate between book 1 & 2. Chief is definitely acting more superhero like and quips pretty often. Not sure if I’m fully liking it.

Chief and Cortana’s first outing, it’s fun hearing John’s thoughts about his AI’s wit and “civilian” like banter.

I love it! Very fast paced and easy to visualize. Very much enjoying adding the little details to my understanding of characters I knew little about. I knew a little about the infamous “Keye’s Loop,” but reading it happen in real-time was nail biting.
