I remember reading this in high school, I’m can’t believe it’s been out for 25+ years!

Saw this come up on one of the Goodreads Challenges, books from the 90’s.

Oooooh shit.

I am loving this one so far. I have a few hunches, but not sure how it’ll connect.

Finley is literally the worst. Why would this smart lawyer woman have ever loved him?! I haven’t heard any redeeming qualities.

This author has a thing with making the main male character a bit quirky.

What a journey. I still wouldn’t say I’m blown away, but I did really enjoy it. Minus all the gory war stuff.

34 hours in, 2 hours left!! Such an exciting thing just happened! Can’t wait to finish the book tomorrow.

Woahhh chapter 63. That was intense and so fascinating!!!

I finished part 2, and part 3 so far is good. I’m 31 hours in.

Picking this up again since the library finally got it back to me!!

My main problem with this book is I never know where they are. Like it’s hard for me to envision since there isn’t much description. But the story is good. Love the Draco/Hermione romance. Totally see Draco being rude but caring!

Pretty good. Something still feels for me. I get that multiple people seems like suspects when you’re in this type of situation. But there were 2 suspects that seems overwhelmingly suspicious for them to not be it. Hmmmmmmmm.

Straight to the dead body! Gah, I’m stressed out!

Basically saying ‘Just don’t yell at your kids, it’s that simple. But if you do yell, you’ll mess them up for life!’ Way to make me feel worse. 1 hour audiobook, I gained nothing.

Finished yesterday. So may be a spoiler, so read on if you don’t wanna see. But why didn’t she use her freaking marketing skills to market the freaking VIRAL VIDEO of him saving the dog?? His vet office would have earned more money (he could have raised the prices), especially bringing in Hank. Missed opportunities left and right. Haha.

I get this was a satire, but wow, it’s so stupid. Hahhahaha.

I didn’t like hearing how cats can be born without a functioning asshole. That made me uncomfortable and sad.

I disliked two different explanations was like “have friends of neurotypical children so you can see if your child is where they should be, or behind” but then later in the same chapter it says “do not compare your child to a neurotypical child”.

This was so stupid, but honestly, kept us reading all the different outcomes. HA!

You’d never guess, one of the endings leads you to mating with a hunky hockey playing Yeti. Like, wtf?! So stupid and random, but honestly it was probably my favorite ending.

Overall, loved the “pick your poison”, but a lot of the storyline has no purpose. Like why does the hitch hiker want her dead SO BADLY?!

My loan returned and I forgot to check where I left off. I believe I’m nearly 20 hours in.

17 hours in, and I’m not gonna be able to finish before I have to turn in the book. It’s a 5 week hold currently. But we’ll see how far I can get in 3 days.
My fav part so far was their drunk night together. I totally see Faron as Draco, by the way he acts and talks. Helena is a much different Hermione though.
