Wow what a trip. I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I did, but so fascinating.

Nearly 7 hours in, and apparently this is my jam! It’s so interesting. Ha! Excited to see what happens!

It was good, but I was expecting great. I think that’s why I was always just…expecting more. So that sucks. Cuz it was really cool, kept me reading.

Part 3 is crazy. How are people this smart? Ha.

Entering Part 2. I don’t know, I think my hopes were too high. Another reveal and it’s sorta expected. Like I am totally invested, but I’m annoyed that nothing is shocking yet.

So far, pretty basic scenarios for what’s happening. Yes juicy, but predictable. When is it gonna get to the “DAMNNNNN I DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING!!” ??

Confused so far, but I’m sure it’ll come together. I’ve always wanted to watch the movie, figured the book would be up my alley.

I really liked this one, lots to relate to. But I feel there wasn’t really actionable items to take away.

Love the term “Nexting”: the continuous, automatic process of predicting what will happen next based on what is happening right now.

Also, lots of scenarios that is my exact life.

Hmm it kept me listening, but the final twist felt cheesy. I’ll still watch the movie when it comes out, but I’m not sure it’ll be good. Ha!

I mean, I love how her characters all have very similar personalities. Ha! It must be a common trait in psychologically complex people. Picked this one to read because I heard it’s becoming a movie soon!

Only rating 4 stars cuz why was Sam always saying “I’m gonna be quick” Brooooooo not sexy. Hahahhahahhahaha.

It sucks getting older and being a parent cuz now I can’t envision myself in stories like this, I’m not placing my kids in there. Thinking about young love, young encounters….its just reminding me I’ll have to be the parent in these situations. Hahahahaha.

My whole issue with this is making the assumption that you know exactly what your child (or other person) is feeling. I think it’s easier to assume what a child is feeling, but I feel weird telling him what he’s feeling. Like what if I’m wrong? And now he’s learned the incorrect words for that feeling?? Maybe I’m overthinking it.

“Connection First” which, I generally do connect, but I can’t say I do that first. I need to work on my initial reactions to a behavior.

Bob was so annoying, no explanation on how she stayed married to him for so long.
One loose end that I’m wondering about. But overall, fun to relive the case from the first book.

I don’t think Bob had a speaking part in the first book, but he sounds so annoying here. Ha! Some of the details I forgot, but it’s slowly coming back!
