This sucks

It’s not horrible but I’m upset I spent my money on this. I wish I had done more research. It does read like something out of a millennial’s TikTok account.

The sex scenes ruined this book

The romance makes me feel NOTHING it’s so sad :(

I am not a fan of instant love (I actually really dislike it). But I am determined to finish this book anyway! I am loving the atmosphere so let’s see if it holds up.

Why don’t the guards just kill the rebels? The way they’re described, they would kill anyone for just looking at them wrong. It makes no sense that they would keep suspected rebels that are always causing trouble alive. No sense.

The book is repetitive and could’ve used more editing. It’s quite YA too but that’s bc it’s a YA book lol my fault ig

There’s some millennial humour I am not a fan of. Kinda cringe. Still very early and the plot is interesting, I shall continue.

I’m only starting to enjoy it now. I almost gave up on it. But now… now we are talking
