Id say its a fairly conventional lesson; but presented in a way that makes me think. I always hear the story "mistakes are for learning;" but this poem frames mistakes in a more interesting way.

Id say this poem was interesting in the way it hid the message under layers of devices and ideas; making me really work to figure it out. I like poems that really puzzle me because it makes them interesting to read.

Lesson seems to be about how you dont have to follow old traditions exactly the way they've been done. You can bring your own novel tactics and methods to whatever task that is upon you.
